D Deck in Discovery Bay is one of the largest oceanfront dining destinations in Hong Kong. With 20 or so dining establishments facing the DB Piazza on one side and the waterfront promenade on the other, this area has become a gourmet hot spot featuring a variety of restaurants, bars, cafés and bakeries.
Situated in the north-eastern coast of Lantau Island in the New Territories, D Deck offers a relaxed open-air alfresco setting with a spectacular 180° ocean view. Whether coming in for breakfast, lunch, dinner or anything in between, diners are up for a memorable gastronomic and sight seeing experience in this part of Discovery Bay. Evening diners get an extra treat of spectacular fireworks display (after 8 p.m.) launched from Disneyland, right across the bay.
Big spenders will get a free ferry ride back to Central upon spending HK$100 at any of the designated restaurants courtesy of D Deck's Dine 'N Ride Promo. So keep those receipts if you want a free ferry ride back to Central.
Apart from the good food, breathtaking outdoor setting, fun vibe and live music at D Deck, there are other points of interest at Discovery Bay. Adjacent to the waterfront promenade is the 400-meter long Tai Pak Beach. There are also several clubhouses located in the numerous residential developments in the area, a golf club and a yacht club.
