Hysan Place is a 36-storey building at 500 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay, housing a shopping mall and corporate offices. It was opened on August 10, 2012, making it the newest retail destination in Hong Kong Island and the latest addition to the Causeway Bay shopping scene.
The shopping mall covers a total floor area of 270,000 sq ft of retail space spread over 17 floors of retail shops, cafes and restaurants. The new mall is pitched as, 'The Place for all things Stylish.' Interiors is characterized by high ceilings, organic shapes and monochromatic color scheme designed by international architectural firm Benoy.
Besides the more than 120 shops consisted of both local and international brands, there is a Sky Garden on the fourth floor where mall-goers can take a rest from their shopping. The garden is complete with lush landscaping, relaxing water features and seating areas.
One of the popular shops in Hysan Place is the Taiwanese bookstore eslite which offers a comprehensive selection of books in Chinese. This bookstore is massive, it takes up three floors! Others stores that are always packed with shoppers are the Apple Store and international fashion brands Hollister and Gap.
Hysan Place is easily accessible by MTR (Causeway Bay Station Exit) and within 5-10 minutes walking distance to Times Square, SOGO and other shopping malls, plazas and street shops.
