The Iron Man Experience, a state-of-the-art immersive multi-sensory attraction featuring 3-D images and projections, surround sound, flight simulation and other special effects, is set to be launched in Hong Kong Disneyland on January 11, 2017. It will be the first Marvel-themed attraction for any of the Disney parks around the globe.
The attraction is set in Hong Kong Disneyland's Tomorrowland section and will include Stark Expo, a massive exposition venue featuring different halls: The Hall of Legacy, the Hall of Energy, the Hall of Mobility and the Hall of Protection. Each hall will showcase unique attractions and offer experiences that are unlike anything else in the world.
The main attraction, of course, is the Iron Man Experience, an interactive ride that is dubbed to be the first of its kind. The ride features a 44-seater Iron Wing vehicle where guests will get to see and explore iconic locations in Hong Kong as they fly their way to the Stark Tower alongside Iron Man. To appreciate the 3D attraction, guests will be wearing special StarkVision glasses and witness Iron Man in action as he saves Hong Kong from the evil forces of Hydra. The attraction promises to be a uniquely immersive multi-sensory motion experience that is unlike any other theme park ride to date.
Other Marvel and Iron Man-themed experiences are also in the works including dining and entertainment facilities. The Expo Shop will offer merchandise to guests.
