The Jordan Valley Park is a sprawling public park located in the valley south of New Clear Water Bay Road. It sits on a 6.3- hectare site that used to be the Jordan Valley Landfill, making it one of the best examples of the beneficial results of urban redevelopment in Hong Kong. The park is considered as the largest public park in Kwun Tong District.
Officially opened to the public in 2012, the park is known for its two remote control model car racing circuits, which both passed international model car racing standards. Circuit A is a larger course with covered spectator stand, driver stand and covered pit area. Circuit B is smaller but entirely covered, making it an all-weather model car race course.
Apart from the model car racing circuits, Jordan Valley Park also has a horticultural learning center, sprawling grassy lawn perfect for picnics, a jogging track, fitness area for the elderly, children's playground and several theme gardens: Maze Garden, Four Seasons Garden and Bougainvillea Garden.
Other facilities include two multi-purpose rooms, a greenhouse, community garden with 45 plots and paid parking. There are only limited parking slots (a total of 43 with one designated to the disabled) so come in early to get a slot.
The park is located at No. 71, New Clear Water Bay Road, Kwun Tong. It is open daily from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. The following facilities are available during these hours:
- Radio-Controlled Model Car Circuit： 9:00 am to 10:30 pm daily
