Kwai Tsing Theatre is a world-class performance facility in Kwai Tsing District, New Territories, Hong Kong. Opened in 1999, the facility covers a total area of 25,000 square metres and is comprised of a 1,000-seat theatre and concert hall, a 150-seat black box theatre, lecture hall and dance studio. There is also an outdoor plaza which is used for various events and activities.
The theatre boasts of a sophisticated railway vibration isolation system which mitigates any disturbance caused the nearby West Rail line underground railway. Furthermore, its state-of-the-art stage machinery and lighting system meet the technically-demanding requirements of world-class performances.
Kwai Tsing Theatre is a popular venue to a variety of performances including theater production, Chinese and Western opera, chamber music, dance and concert, providing something for every age and interest.
Located at 12 Hing Ning Road, Kwai Chung, in New Territories, Kwai Tsing Theatre is easily accessible via Kwai Fong MTR station and other public transport. It is open daily, Monday to Sunday, from 09:00am to 11:00pm.
