The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) has completed enhancement works at Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section) which now features angling ancillary facilities which are free to use by the public.
The fishing facilities include fishing rod holders, benches, arbours and water dispensers which enable angling enthusiasts and the general public to fish in a more pleasant environment and while enjoying the views of Victoria Harbour. Educational display panels on good practices and safety rules for leisure angling have also been installed at the promenade.
The Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section) is conveniently located and adjacent to the Tamar Park, the Central Piers and the Star Ferry Pier with the provision of facilities such as a kiosk and toilets. It is easily accessible by MTR, tram, bus or minibus.
