Located on the rooftop of Ocean Terminal new extension building of Harbour City is the Observatory Deck named Ocean Terminal Deck, dubbed as Hong Kong's newest tourist attraction. Designed by internationally renowned architecture firm, Foster + Partners, the observation deck is part of a five-story complex situated at the end of Ocean Terminal and surrounded by the sea with its prime location extending to the centre of Victoria Harbour.
Ocean Terminal Deck is now open to visitors for free, offering a 270-degree panorama of Victoria Harbour overlooking the breathtaking views of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. It has become the best venue to enjoy Hong Kong's sunset and evening views.
Apart from the rooftop deck, the extension building is also home to several dining outlets, each with stunning harbour views and alfresco dining areas enabling customers to enjoy the glamorous views of Victoria Harbour while savouring high-quality global cuisines.
As of now, five restaurants are already in service, namely Hexa (Guangdong), Tsukada Nojo (Japanese), Xi He Ya Yuan (Beijing), Paper Moon (Italian) and ANA Ten (Japanese). Two restaurants, A Nu Retrouvez-vous (French) and Fu Rong (Sichuan) will open within the year while 4 more will be in service next year to offer diverse international culinary delights.
The observatory deck also features two outdoor event spaces of nearly 6,500 sq. ft., one of which has a natural lawn allowing the public to ramble on the grass. There is also a Grandstand with maximum capacity of 200 people, facing the outdoor performance venue which will diversify the upcoming performance activities of Harbour City. A wide variety of performances and activities are set to be held at Ocean Terminal Deck.
