Its current architecture and interiors will make anyone think that Pacific Place Mall, in Admiralty, Hong Kong, is no ordinary shopping complex. It is one of Hong Kong's swankiest, biggest and impressive malls.
Famed English designer, Thomas Heatherwick, gave Pacific Place Mall a new look featuring contemporary sophisticated style. The re-design is said to have cost more than HK$1.5 billion.
The mall is home to over 130 shops and boutiques, including international luxury brands such as Armani, Burberry, Dior, Dolce and Gabbana, Emporio Armani, French Connection, Gucci, Hermes, Hugo Boss, Jean Paul Gaultier, Louis Vutton, Prada, Shanghai Tang, Ted Baker, Versace, Vivienne Tam, Bvlgari, Cartier, and Bang and Olufsen.
Lane Crawford, touted as Hong Kong’s most exclusive department store, is also found here. The flagship store is known for its high end fashion and jaw dropping prices, frequented by the city’s rich and famous.
Aside from the shops, there are also a cinema and several impressive, and expensive, restaurants in the shopping centre. Also located in the complex are three five-star hotels (Island Shangri-La, JW Mariott and Conrad Hong Kong), a boutique hotel, three Grade-A office towers and 270 five-star serviced apartments. The relaxing Hong Kong Park is also just a stone throw away.
