Shun Tak Centre is a commercial and transport complex in Sheung Wan, on the northern shore of Hong Kong Island. It comprises a 4-storey podium containing a shopping mall and car park, two 38-story office towers, and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal.
The Shun Tak Centre was built on the site of the old Macau Ferry Piers and the Sheung Wan night market. No. 1 Tower, now known as China Merchants Tower, was completed in 1984 on the easternmost section of the site. No. 2 Tower, now called Western Tower, was built on a different orientation, giving the property on close examination a slightly asymmetric appearance.
The shopping complex houses a selection of boutiques selling clothing, handbags, toys, and novelties, as well as restaurants serving various cuisines.
With direct access to the Sheung Wan MTR Station and the Macau Ferry Terminal, Shun Tak Centre is a busy transport hub. A bus terminal and a large taxi stand are also adjacent. A helipad is also available for helicopter service to Macau. Covered footbridges connect to major parts of Central and Sheung Wan. It is also convenient to the southern portal of the Western Harbour Crossing.
Shun Tak Centre is located at 200 Connaught Road, Central, Hong Kong. It is open daily from 9:00 am - 10:00 pm.
