Sogo Mall Hong Kong is the largest Japanese-style department store in Hong Kong. It's 18-floor Causeway Bay flagship store first opened in 1985 and has since become an important retail landmark of Hong Kong. In 1993, the store underwent major renovations, expanding its floor area from 11,000 square metres to 40,000 square metres which earned it the moniker, "Jumbo Sogo."
In 2005, Sogo Hong Kong opened a second store in the former location of The Palace Mall (1997-2001) and Teddy Bear Kingdom (2002-2005) in Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. In 2014, the Tsim Sha Tsui store was relocated to Nathan Road, encompassing a total floor area of 13,000 square metres.
Apart from Japanese goods, both Sogo locations feature a wide selection of international brands, including popular European fashion brands, skin care products and cosmetics, jewelry, leather goods, electrical appliances and home supplies. There is also a Freshmart supermarket in each store.
