Stanley Main Beach Water Sports Centre is a recreational facility offering various water sports activities. It is located at the Stanley Main Beach, in the Southern District, Hong Kong Island. The beach, which faces Tai Tam Bay and opposite D'Aguilar Peninsula, is sheltered by Stanley Peninsula from strong waves and wind.
The water sports centre is an ideal place for water sports lovers. The calm sea conditions make it an ideal place for novices to acquire or improve their skills. When autumn comes, fresh easterly to northeasterly winds are prevalent and the heavy sea conditions within the Bay provide a perfect platform for water sports lovers to display their skills to the full.
Stanley Main Beach Water Sports Centre offers a wide range of water sports training courses and fun days for the public on a regular basis. Individual groups or organizations may also apply with the centre for package or tailor-made programmes.
A wide range of water sports equipment, including kayaks, sailing dinghies and windsurfing boards, are available for hire in the centre.
