Launched in January 2015, this world-class 3D museum was the spin off of the original Trick Eye Museum established in South Korea in 2010. All artworks in the Hong Kong branch are created by Korean artists and tailor-made only for Hong Kong. Visitors are encouraged to touch, climb onto and immerse with the jaw-dropping exhibits and become a part of the masterpiece.
The jaw-dropping installations employ the Trompe-l’oeil technique that deceives the eyes and make paintings on plain surfaces magically appear to be three-dimensional and alive! And because guests are encouraged to interact with the artworks by posing at their own whims, these optical illussions make for excellent selfie and groupie backgrounds!
The exhibition is divided into five different themed zones namely, World of Masterpieces, Hong Kong Discovery, Secret Garden, Great Adventure and Neverland.
The Trick Eye Museum Hong Kong experience is perfect for families and groups of friends. Make sure to charge your phones and cameras to capture the moments in 3D background images!
The Trick Eye Museum Hong Kong is located at Shop No. 1, Level Three, The Peak Galleria, No. 118 Peak Road, near Victoria Peak. It is open daily from 10am to 9pm. Visit www.trickeye.com/hongkong/ for more information.
